Michelle Kempf, LPC

Michelle Kempf is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has worked in the behavioral health field for over 15 years and has experience working in residential, inpatient, community-based, and outpatient settings. Michelle also has experience with program management, clinical assessments, case-management, and supervision. She earned her Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015 and was licensed in the state of Virginia in 2019.

Michelle specializes in working with motivated adults on issues primarily revolving around OCD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and life transitions and she is dedicated to offering a safe, non-judgmental, and relaxing setting for clients to process and feel understood. Michelle provides therapy to adults using evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness-based interventions, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She believes in a person-centered, holistic approach to treatment and tailors her approaches to assist clients with meeting their goals.
